Research Interests

My research interests are focused on biology and ecology of alien cyanobacteria species, especially on a potentially toxic cyanobacteria Raphidiopsis raciborskii (Nostocales order) and expansion of this species. Furthermore, I isolate and cultivate of a filamentous cyanobacteria cultures of Raphidiopsis raciborskii, Sphaerospermopsis aphanizomenoides and Aphanizomenon gracile.

Current study topics

  • Influence of environmental conditions on the growth of alien cyanobacteria strains

  • Toxicity analysis of alien cyanobacteria strains
