Next week (7-11.10.2019) we will host Professor Maria A. Rodrigo from the Institute of Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology, University of Valencia. Professor Maria A. Rodrigo is a high-class specialist in the field of hydrobiology, freshwater ecology and phycology. Professor Maria A. Rodrigo is also an excellent educator and popularizer of science. Professor conducts research on the restoration of water bodies and wetlands in the area of the Albufera de Valencia Lagoon. During a visit to our Faculty, Maria A. Rodrigo, as a visiting professor, will conduct a series of lectures for doctoral students entitled “Ecological restoration: the case of coastal wetlands”, as part of the project POWR.03.02.00-00-I022/16.
